The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is the fifth installment in the series and is adapted from the fourth book in Suzanne Collins' series of novels. The film stars Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, Peter Dinklage, and Viola Davis. It is directed by Francis Lawrence, who also directed the previous three Hunger Games films.

The film tells the story of Coriolanus Snow, who becomes the tyrannical President of Panem in the original Hunger Games trilogy. The film follows Snow as he mentors Lucy Gray Baird, a tribute from District 12, in the 10th Hunger Games.
