Early Life and Career

Alex Galchenyuk was born on February 12, 1994, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At just 185 cm (6'1") and 88 kg (194 lbs), he began his hockey career at a young age. His exceptional talent and determination caught the attention of scouts, leading to his selection third overall by the Montréal Canadiens in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

NHL Journey

Galchenyuk made his NHL debut during the 2012-2013 season. Despite being a rookie, he quickly made an impact, contributing 13 goals and 20 assists in 48 games. In the following seasons, he continued to refine his play, becoming a key offensive force for the Canadiens. In 2015-2016, he set career highs with 30 goals and 25 assists in 82 games.
