Michael Keaton is an American actor who has starred in a wide range of films, from comedies to dramas to action blockbusters. Early Life and Career

Michael Keaton was born Michael John Douglas in 1951 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. He began his acting career in the early 1970s, appearing in small roles in films and television shows. He got his big break in 1982 when he was cast in the lead role in the sitcom Night Shift, which ran for two seasons. Keaton's breakthrough film role came in 1988, when he starred as the title character in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. The film was a critical and commercial success, and it helped to establish Keaton as a leading man in Hollywood.

Batman and Beyond

In 1989, Keaton was cast as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. The film was a huge box office success, and it helped to revive the Batman franchise. Keaton reprised his role as Batman in Batman Returns (1992), which was also a critical and commercial success. After Batman Returns, Keaton left the Batman franchise, and he was replaced by Val Kilmer in Batman Forever (1995). Keaton has since returned to the role of Batman in the 2022 film The Flash.

Michael Keaton has been married twice. His first marriage was to Caroline McWilliams from 1982 to 1990. They had one son, Sean. His second marriage was to Courtney Cox from 1992 to 1995. Keaton has been in a relationship with actress Michelle Pfeiffer since 2003.
